> I am reading The Beast: A Journey Through Depression by Tracy Thompson. I haven't gotten very far in it, but it is well written. I have pretty bad depression and have read a lot of books and autobiographies on the subject, one of my favorites being Darkness Visible by William Styron. He writes so eloquently and with amazing clarity. I recommend it highly for anyone who needs another voice for their pain and to aid in healing on the cognitive end. Also I highly recommend it for family members and friends of those who have suffered with it.
