Oh, I don't think Hell's Angels would be a dark book to read at all. I just read the first few pages on amazon and I can tell by Thompson's style, it would likely be an often *humorous* sociological work. It would likely be dark humor, I am sure. Also, since people seem to be losing some of their apolitical apathy recently, it might contain some ideas about current society that haven't changed much (even though the book was written in the mid-60's).

My family is always dark! ;)
