I looked through most of the sample pages. This is definitely not a book I would seek out in the library or a bookstore. The coarseness of it is slightly overwelming for me. It's good to expose oneself to another side of life that might have been feared. From what I read, My fears will be confirmed (but that's just me).

Re how the book is written: I get really impatient with lots of quotes from other writers thrown in the text of a book. If this book were chosen, I'd probably read it but I'm not sure it will be one I would recommend to anyone . One of the reviewers says there is not much meat but lots of numbers. Don't know if that's true but that part sounds too textbookish.
