Tap,Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. is probably my favorite American writer of all time. His latest one, "Timequake" was pretty fun. Irving is more sentimental, where Vonnegut is more cynical, but I flip back and forth between those two moods a lot-so either one can hold my attention easily. There was an antidepressant drug that Vonnegut mentioned I think in "Slapstick". I believe its name was Tri-benzo-Deportamil!
