Went to the Book shop, and they only have Middlesex in in hard back at the moment.. and theres no way my poor hand can cope with a hard back (though I have to admit that will be ignored when Harry Potter comes out!!), let alone my handbag!! *l*
Gonna see if I can order it from Amazon.com (Used to use them alot before amazon.co.uk started).. should be here before its out in paper back here!
Really dissapointed as I was so looking forward to it.. I read the first two pages in the shop, and really like the style of prose.. one of the shop assistants came oevr while I was reading it and said they had just read it and loved it!!
Instead, I bought "The secret History, donna tartt" which caught my eye, so hoping its better than the books I've recently read!!
