Oh, I was thinking about some of his other stuff that I have read a long time ago. I think it was Cider House Rules. There is some narrative about the lobster fishermen in Maine. Anyhow, he was describing lobster pots or at least talking about them. I honestly didn't know what lobster "pots" were until I read that book! I went to a restaurant in Kansas City once called "The Lobster Pot" and I thought it just meant a literal pot of cooked lobster, not traps!
