Maybe the approach Linkadge takes deserves consideration. In the past, EPA was the focus of research to the exclusion of DHA. In fact, Omegabrite, the product of Stoll et al., was suggested to be a better antidepressant because it was pure EPA. Maybe, as Linkadge suggests, DHA has been neglected as a therapeutic agent. Still, I am waiting for someone who has had severe depression report that fish oil produced a persistent remission.
