I read (skimmed) an article today...they think maybe some of the metabolic stuff from the AAP drugs is due to oxidative stress or something. weird, huh? The AP drugs cause more motor side effects, more frequently (Thorazine Shuffle, anyone?) and dysphoria, but the newer drugs are weight gainers like whoa.
Anyway...I also read that alpha lipoic acid has been used to block weight gain from zyprexa, with some good results. I wanna say 1,200mgs/day. I don't know if it would reverse it....
