I decided to discontinue the Uridine because the breathing issue was persisting. It only lasted about 4-5 hours after dosing, but was uncomfortable enough to make me seek out alternatives.
In that regard, I've had some more success with L-theanine, which is also excellent for akathisia but which, despite its reputation, I find somewhat stimulating; because it only has a short half-life, I have to dose twice a day, and find it disturbs my sleep.
N-acetylcysteine is also helpful, but likewise causes some respiratory depression.
By the way, I found that the Uridine behaved substantially differently when I added in the co-factors (high-DHA fish oil and choline). Uridine alone didn't do much for my cognition, but the combination had a far more substantial impact. It may be worth experimenting with for your particular set of issues.
