Sam-e and Lithium

I get the rage when I take Sam-e and a couple other supplements. I guess thats the Manic in me.
I was wondering if anyone has tried or read about combining Sam-e with Lithium.
From what I have read, Lithium is for bipolar.
I have both Sam-e and Serenity (lithium Orotate) here in front of me, but have yet to try them both at the same time.
My thinking is, I will get any positive benefits from Sam-e without the manic.
