Yes, you can take both. Both are important. 200-400mg of magnesium per day and 15mg of zinc per day. You can get all of your zinc in a multivitamin and some of your magnesium. You might have to take an extra 200mg tablet of magnesium, if the magnesium really helps you. I would caution against real high dosages of zinc. Zinc can have side effects if taken at high dosages for long periods. Most doctors don't recommend supplementing with zinc for a long time.
