Tyrosine?-amino acid that is a precursor to dopamine

Rhodiola-Mind Body and Spirit, GAIA, or New Chapter

Holy Basil(New Chapter is best IMO)-may calm you and ease your mind so that you can socialize easier. Actually the combination of Rhodiola and Holy Basil may be a great one for you.

Mu Huang-in it's pure form it may be safer than many believe

Mucuna Puriens-boosts dopamine-contains L-Dopa so may not want to mess with on a regular basis for health reasons

Other than that you may want to consider resorting to medication, but I know that you are here because you are probably trying to avoid medication.

Have you been to psychodynamic therapy or cognitive behavioral therapy? I think that psychodynamic group therapy is the absolute best long term solution for conditions like severe shyness and social anxiety, I've seen it first hand in practice.
