I think it really depends on how quickly your body metabolizes the vitamin. If you are pyroluric, you metabolize B6 rather quickly so you need higher dosages than a normal person would need. So 200mg might be toxic for a normal person, but not for someone who is pyroluric. I've always thought 100mg of B6 per day was rather safe for me. I had no side effects from it at that dosage. The optimum for me, however, seems to be 150mg per day. 200mg per day, and I start to have side effects like overstimulation.
