Right. And calcium is used in muscle contraction, and it may also lead to over-stimulation in the brain, anxiety, agitation. Just wondering what would happen if you just took magnesium for a little while. We hear so much about taking calcium, but perhaps it is not always necessary considering the fact that in populations where there is plentiful magnesium in the diet, women tend not to get osteoporosis even with a relatively low calcium intake.
