I had some major surgery right after you posted your response - that's why its taken me so long to follow up. I went ahead and purchased an Alpha-Stim right before your reply, and it is working GREAT for me, too. Initially, I only needed it for a 20 minute session, but I am finding now that setting it for an hour is best; I fall asleep during that time. A setting of somewhere between 2 and 3 seems to be perfect for me. I would recommend this device to anyone suffering from insomnia, especially sleep onset insomnia, like we have (had!!!)
