I just went to a new doc today, and because I've tried most meds & they often make my depression worse, he wanted me to take N-Acetyl Cysteine. He gave me a paper on it that said he recommended increasing to 2 or 3 600mg pills morning & night (and said that the recommended dose has not been scientifically established.)
He also said to take ALA which works collaboratively with NAC.
God, I hope I get some reaction. Dr's are giving up on me.
