The brand of borage oil I take is Solgar Super GLA 300mg because that was the only brand at the vitamin store with a very high GLA content. I've started off taking two 1300mg capsules per day, but one source said you can probably take 3,000mg per day. I don't think I need quite that much. Also, I take a lot vitamin C during the day (about 1500mg in 500mg increments) with the essential fatty acids (fish oil and borage), and this seems to keep my energy levels up. Hope this helps.
