Hi! I am bipolar and am currently off almost all meds (just ativan before bed or on anxious days), doing homeopathy and taking some nutrients. Lately I have had a crash (depression and anxiety, probably a mixed state). I am on the mend, but could use some help getting out of this depression. The anxiety/agitation has mostly ceased, but I am left feeling down and unmotivated.
Here is what I take. If anyone has any suggestions for what I could increase or add, I would appreciate the advice.
Fish Oil 2000 mg am 2000 mg pm
Evening Primrose oil 1300 mg am 1300 mg pm
5-HTP 100 mg am 100 mg pm
L-Tyrosine 500 mg pm
Calcium/Magnesium 666 mg am 666 mg pmI also occasionally take :
Biotin 1000 mcg am
Folic Acid 8000 mcg am
(I am not sure why my nutritionist suggested these, which is why I don't take them reguarly.)I haven't had an appointment with my nutritionist in a long time. It's too damn expensive.
