http://www.orthojournalhms.org/volume1/html/cartilage_repair.html#page_3
someone else told me it works well in animals so far but not in us.. and I fail to see why we are so different form other animals?
Also reading that page 3 , it looks like there's some places getting sucess and not others(going on success ratios)..so it may depend on WHO does it and presie technique used, apparently hammering in the replacements plugs in one technique causes more damage to the cartiledge than the amount of cartiledge replaced.
Also I did price hyaluronic acid from one compounding pharmacy, over a year go and they said it would cost them $1000 per gram to buy in the supplies. I had this vague idea of injection some in myself.. until I found out the price...
Keep in touch with how it all goes with u,
I do enjoy my funyak now (I won one a while ago ) and I went out today in it.. perfect day. It's great on the knees but still provides exercise, and Gray's Pt was lovely today.. BUT it's getting it to the water etc, so i've only ben out 4 times so far.
I tried bike riding yesterday agian, but it hurt the knee..
