Interestingly liver is high in copper - which might be why coupling these two substances has a good effect on me. I also eat lots of nuts which are high in copper.Hi Loops! Great to hear from you. Thanks for the update.
I found similar with tryptophan re buildup and only needing a little .like 150mg out of a capsule of 500mg,..and dissolving easily. ..and then I only needed about 50mg before stopping altogether..and now just occasionally, like maybe a couple fo times a month at the lowest (50mg) dose .
Tyrosine was similar too..the 500mg dose must have gone all to dopamine in me.. as it sure felt like it., and maybe that would happened if one was also taking thryoid hormones ..so that path was filled up and I was low on iodine too, so thyroid hormone based tyrosine was more than filled up and maybe releasing some eventually too as no spare iodine to recycle it back to thryoid hormones..so all to dopamine. I figured that was why I had such a strong reaction to my500mg .... quite a few times.
I wouldn't take any more tyrosine ..at least maybe only 50mg too, as too much dopamine daily does BAD things re reducing dopamine receptors etc..and I even experienced that I thought.
It's really strange that aminos can be sooo powerful though.
I hate to think of some here who were megadosing and eating them on empty stomachs in food quantities..althoug I doubt some actually did..maybe just talked about it..I'm taking kelp now and its helping(probably as I was low on iodine) ..and injecting low dose B1 as well.. which I think also helps.
sorry raving on here..
just good to hear from you again
