BTW how amazing are lentils in terms of mineral status things? Didn't Neil in the Young Ones go on about lentils? He has a point:
Per 100g dried lentils
Calcium 56.0 mg 6%
Iron 7.5 mg 42%
Magnesium 122 mg 31%
Phosphorus 451 mg 45%
Potassium 955 mg 27%
Sodium 6.0 mg 0%
Zinc 4.8 mg 32%
Copper 0.5 mg 26%
Manganese 1.3 mg 67%
Selenium 8.3 mcg 12%From 'nutrition data' (google it)
Good job I had a generous serving today!
