> LinkadgeThanks for posting your new regimen, that is really helpful for me. I'm going to start making sure I take my Omega Fatty acids every day. I just drink flax seed oil out of the bottle. I think it's super healthy for many reasons, not just neural health. What is the purpose of the DHA?
Regarding GABA, I have come across some articles about Picomilone which is a synthetic combination of GABA and nicotinic acid (a B vitamin derivative). Both of the elements are naturally occurring, but a the combination into one molecule does not occur in nature. One key advantage of attaching nicotinic acid is that much more of the molecule crosses the blood brain barrier. Another reported advantage is that it keeps one both alert and relaxed. However, since the final entity is a synthetic it could potentially have unforseen effects that neither component does alone.
I don't have any personal experience taking it, but reading about it piqued my interest.
