quality of vitamins

THis might be a repeat. I posted earlier, but couldn't find it anywhere on the board.
I am just wondering about brands/costs of vitamins, minerals and herbs. Is it really better to spend more money on a "better" brand, or do Walgreen and Walmart brands do the same thing?
It is just confusing having so many choices!!!!
vitamins
fish oil
herbs
amino acids
