I have taken whey protein, I specifically took it whilst weight training and to combat anxiety. Really you need one that contains a decent quantity of alpha lactalbulmin. This thread will provide more information >

I stopped whey protein after a few months and went on to take Inositol for 3 months. Sadly neither did me much good in quelling my anxiety, and Inositol was pure hell.
