Interesting to note, when I take licorice I open the cap and put some under my tongue. I love the taste and notice an immediate change in the way I feel. It also inhibits the 11 beta HSD2 enzyme which converts cortisol to cortisone thus keeping one's cortisol around much longer.

From my understanding 6 grams was a fairly high dose.
