For depression, I have found that high EPA fish oil has provided the cleanest, most consistent results.
SJW too can be a very useful herb. It has lifted depression a few times.
What has worked best for me personally are the following:
omega-3, folic acid, SJW, & zinc.
Different people respond to different things, but I'd say these ones are definately worth consideration.
