It doesn't surprise me in the least that there are complementary increases in related modulatory chemicals. It's interesting that the rats responded to the human chemical. It hints at some central mechanism, in common.

I'd hesitate to consider this as anything more than an interesting observation. It falls far short of what is required to develop any experimental intervention. It's just a "Hmmm" thing.
