Too much PEA neurotransmission may make you nervous and even mildly paranoid.

PEA is called the endogenious amphetamine. Drugs tha enhance PEA activity in animals can somtimes induce steriotypic behavior associated with other stimulants.

High levels of PEA have been found in paranoid schitsophrenia, for instance.

While PEA levels may be low in certain depressions, it is usefull to be aware of some of the signs that the system may be overactive.
