It may have other properties too. Kava Kava, also inhibited MAO-B, but it was primarily used as an anxiolitic.

I definately feel that it is alerting and stimulating. But it doesn't feel sharply stimulating like strong coffee, more like a warm stimulation.

It makes my vision brighter.

Overall, I would consider it to be stimulating for me.
