Good Brand of Green Tea?

Posted by blueberry on October 10, 2005, at 6:09:12

I tried green tea for the first time and liked it. It is relaxing and yet mood lifting at the same time. I can feel the GABA part of it and the dopamine part of it from the L-theanine in it. The problem is, it was a bottled brand I bought just to sample from the supermarket and it was $1.89 for one drink. Yikes.

I think it would be better and a lot cheaper to brew it myself. But, from what I have read, the L-theanine content of different brands can vary a lot and not be dependable. So I'm wondering, does anyone know of a good reliable brand of green tea? I would rather get some good advice here rather than have to sample every brand on the shelf.
