I started accupuncture a few weeks ago for a bunch of different problems: anxiety, depression, stomach problems and hormone problems. It is too soon to tell how much it will help. I have found a really skilled practicioner, I just have a hard time having hope about anything as I have been unwell for so long and have had no success with alternative or regular medicine since going through severe paxil withdrawal. I will try to remember to post back here about any improvement I make.
She indicated at least three months to really get the hormones under control and that within six months I should be feeling really well. That would be a miracle. I am going every week since I'm pretty messed up. And yes it is expensive, but what other option do I have?
