Thanks, Kara S, that's good information that I'll keep in mind. So far, I've been successful on weaning myself off of the Effexor with the assistance of St. John's Wort (the Perika high potency brand). Last week I was on 225 mg Effexor and this week I go down to 150 mg starting today, all the while taking 900 mgs of the Perika. I've had a little bit of dizzyness and headachiness and one crying spell, but that's been par for the course even when I took Effexor. So, so far, so good. I'll keep you posted on how I'm doing.
