You're not alone.
For many years, I noticed that after taking B vitamins for a few days my dysthymia would worsen. Through a process of trial and error, I finally came to the conclusion that it was probably the choline in the B vitamins which was causing my problem. I now take a multi-vitamin with a low amount of choline without problems.
With me it seems that anything which stimulates the cholinergic system such as choline, piracetam, and gingko biloba will exacerbate my dysthymia.
