i rely on Bach Rescue Remedy for immediate assistance with mild->middle anxiety and/or unexpected emotional shock. It is very effective for me at first onset. I keep it in my first-aid kit at home, backpacking & camping, and also my car. It can also be safely used to calm pets in physical emergencies.
It's solid, according to the MD Homeopath that i see, and was also recommended by the NDs at the pharmacy/apothecary i use when i was painfully withdrawing from an SSRI too quickly.
Bach's Rescue Remedy is very good medicine, IMHO.
i know i've used Calmes Forte, but have no particular recollection one way or the other (must have been unremarkable) ;)
A close friend has told me the baby formula was a godsend for her baby one particular time. There was a similar discussion of length in past posts - forgive me that i'm too sleepy to look them up right now... 'psycho-babble search' should be able to bring them up for you.
Hope that helps,
Escher
