Personal experience speaking, I take both and have not had any side effects. This greatly surprised me, as I have a wretched side effect profile with most "stuff" I've tried to take.
The only one (SE) I really know of is mild stomach distress which can be minimized - taking them with food (which you should do anyway), or change brands.

The only caution I've found is cautioned use if you take blood thinners or high dose asprin.

Again, for me, I've tolerated both well.
