Larry Hoover -- re: zinc/cooper and Alzheimers

Hi Lar,

This article in today's news talks about a novel therapy for treating Alzheimer's patients by removing copper/zinc.

My question is, should I be taking zinc supplements if I believe there is a fairly good chance I am going to get Alzheimer's? (My mom's mom had it bad before she died, my mom's sister is already totally demented, and my mom is starting it seems. And I too feel like my memory and attention seem to be going -- and I am only 30. Sucks, no?)

Any thoughts? Larry or anyone else?
