Not Lar but, I've been told that low serotonin can cause obsessive behaviour.
Perhaps its the "teeter-totter" as Lar said.
Not sure of the procrastination...mine hasn't seemed to resolve or change as yet...despite altering , I assume, dopamine and norepi levels.
