> IleneThere is a difference. Farmed salmon, according to the USDA database, has higher quantities of omega-3 fatty acids than does wild-caught salmon. However, I've heard that European farmed salmon is fed a more grain-based diet, and has less omega-3. I don't have data to back that up, just the word of a renowned scientist in the field of PUFA metabolism.
