lithium orotate and reaction with other pharma

I've taken LO for a couple of months, and love it (still adjusting the dosage.) Also had prescribed sleeping pill AMBien, I think there is some kind of interreaction, I felt like I was hit by a Mac truck in the morning. I stopped the AMbien, but am continuing the LO.
Anyone else have similar results?
