jacinda arden violated the rights of the people when she declared the country was to go into lock-down. for however many days... the police were puffing out their chests and posturing at people to 'stay home'... and they had no authority to do so.
what compensation has the New Zealand government paid the people for violating their rights?
none.
you know what they do: they show themselves to be illigitimate as government.
the building i live in does not have secure post-boxes. election mail is strewn about the floor and is unlawfully opened. people complain (or brag) about people voting more than once. Is there an inquiry? no.
how about election 'donations' that allow candidates to corner the market. for example, the giant well placed billboards and the advertising bandwitdth devoted to promoting chloe swarbrick for central auckland? none of the other candidates had equivalent air time or publicity with respect to faces on billboard or airtime.
it was not an election.
it was not an election at all.
the northern hemisphere looks at nz recently and says 'we understand how hitler came to power'
