Be advised that there are issues here that I need for you to know.
First, I know of two ways for one to overcome addiction and depression. One by human achievement and the other by divine accomplishment. The issue here in this post is that it is said to me by Toph that I think that he needs a new mind. That is not what I posted, and that is one issue involved here. I posted that what I am prevented from posting here due to the prohibitions posted to me by Mr. Hsiung, is that what I could post if not prevented, {... involves not working on the mind that you have...but by receiving a new mind and a new heart and a new spirit. And then a power would be given to you to overcome all things, even these symptoms...].
People could work on the mind that they have as a choice. They could take mind-altering drugs, do counseling, acupuncture, philosophy, meditation, et al. What I need to post here but can not, is how one could receive a new heart and a new mind and a new spirit. This would come from a Jewish perspective as revealed to me that is prohibited by Mr. Hsiung for me to post. And I am abiding by those prohibitions and post here under the same rules as others. I follow the no more than 3 consecutive post rule, I do not post the Jewish perspective as revealed to me that is prohibited, I keep a clean nose and don't use No-Doz, and I stay away from those that carry 'round a fire hose. I see here what goes and you don't need a weather man to know which way the wind blows.
