Closing the 'Neurotransmitters' board.

Posted by SLS on February 1, 2013, at 14:51:17 [reposted on February 2, 2013, at 22:06:21 | original URL]

I think the Neurotransmitters board is no longer useful. If anything, people get confused as to where they should post their questions. Many important questions go unanswered there, as the board is basically vacant. I am concerned that new posters will not think to post the same questions on the Medications board where they would be more likely to receive a reply. Technical questions are now being asked and answered on the Medications board, so I do not think the Neurotransmitter board serves a purpose.

I was hoping that the Neurotransmitters board would attract posting on issues regarding pure research and theory in the neuroscience field that might eventually have clinical applications, but it never worked out that way.

I dream of things that never were and ask why not.
