hmmm... I'm not so sure. If I am going to make an absolute statement (i.e. that the site has died and that because there are a handful of posters blocked.. there is no one left to post anymore), then believe me, I would consider it my job to make sure that what I was saying was accurate - BEFORE I posted the absolute statement.
So I do think it's each person's job to validate their claims before they make them. If everyone takes responsibility for that, some of the rukus would diminish.

But you didn't say anything about threads. You pronounced the site as 'dead' - based on your assertion that there is no one left here to post. So Phillipa - I challenge you to see if that is true, and then let us know what you find.
I realize my challenging your 'Time of Death' announcement might kind of make you feel put on the spot here.. but I genuinely believe that we are all accountable for the claims we make. The pronouncement you made left me feeling that my active existence here was invisible. And I don't think I am invisible. So maybe what I'm asking you to look at is all the activity on the boards, and acknowledge whether you see us.
