I was hoping there was enough room between my lines so as to be able to read between them. They were meant to be thought-provoking rather than dictatorial or dogmatic. I thought that they also helped to preserve civility. I didn't want to be so direct as to accuse anyone of anything, especially when I am now accused of saying nothing.

Verne, given your previous posts to me, I remain defensive enough to tentatively conclude that you are being sarcastic. I am unsure of this, though. I would hope not. Personally, I think you found enough meaning in my first post along this thread to have been struck and angered by it. I can't read your mind, of course.
In any even, my posts about nothing have certainly provoked considerable thought by *you*.
