I guess the word "agenda" is a trigger word. I've been cited for that one, too. As true as it may be that people have agendas, I guess it is not up to us to try to read the minds of others. As benign as having an agenda may be, in common parlance, it is somehow pejorative, as it is often used as an accusation. However, I wouldn't want to deem pejorative the agendas of the Founding Fathers of the U.S.A.
