I don't think I agree with that. It seems to me that if people post on the appropriate board, they usually get some sort of response pretty quickly. Then again, it does depend on the time of day, and who else is online at any given time.
Way back when there was only one board, it was harder to get a response a lot of the time, because there were so many different topics going on, and people didn't always find posts nearly as quickly...
