Indeed, and to make this fair to both deputies *and* babblers perhaps we could all help ease the administrative burdens by letting go of the expectation that babblers will abide by every subtle nuance of the seemingly almost universally baffling and arbitrary civility rules or, for that matter, abide by the civility guidelines at all? This would have the dual advantage of both reducing the administrative burden and would quash any possible rumours of personal bias and favouritism on behalf of the deputies. Afterall, like the deputies, babblers have their own lives, families, jobs, pets, personal problems and struggles with mental illness. Many volunteer a great deal of their own time in helping other babblers, contributing to the community, providing support and information - generally making babble what it is.
Fair is fair, and I think a relaxation in expectations of the administrators should be met by an equal relaxation in expectations of babblers who too, put a great deal of their time and effort into the community.
