Unless I'm trying to fix something and need to know in more detail what's going on. I think if I was going to use chat information for research purposes, I'd need to ask for permission.
The fingerprint is the letters and numbers at the top of the transcript, "guSCYhqWQa5VKK5njp1EYdrSy0Y" or whatever.
