On further testing, the Babble window only disappears when I call it up from a link in my E-Mail. If I load the program from my desktop there is no problem when I start PubMed. If I follow this sequence the Babble window will go away every time:1. Load Outlook Express and call up Babble through a link to a thread I am following.
2. Minimize Babble & Outlook Express, and load PubMed from my desktop.
3. At this point the Babble window is gone. Verified through Windows Task Manager/Applications.
The problem seemed intermittent because sometimes I will load Babble from my desktop (no problem). It is always when I load Babble from a link in Outlook Express that the problem arises.
