Actually, most of these wounds do heal here on PB. I think they help to make the community stronger because the healing is usually in a manner of learning and nurturing rather than in the development of a scar through avoidance and denial.

JYL - I hope you are not too cynical in reading this. You feel the way you feel, though. I don't know the history of what might have transpired, if anything, that brought you to have said such things. I don't judge you. What I read this morning was extreme, though. I don't think I have ever seen you on the main board where clinical mental illnesses are discussed (mostly Axis I). Is this at all relevant in your life? Could this be related to your recent thoughts, feelings, and behaviors? Is there any family history? This is not an accusation, and you don't have to have a major mental illness to be where you're at (not that there is anything contrary to possessing a fittness to live when having such a condition). I am just concerned and wish for you only the best of life experiences. Believe it or not.

Don't reply to these questions. They are just for your consideration.

You are probably being given more advice regarding your other personal and professional support resources than you would like to hear (at least I hope you are), so...

Be well, and come back.

- Scott
